| Why is it I feel so sad to see these greta engines lined up on death-row?
I fondly remember the trips from Thurso to Inverness being hauled by the great class 37. Indeed I recall the rolling stock before ETH!!
I always wanted to be up front in a class 37 and learn more abou them!

| What's really hellfire about this picture, is that this was 20 007's first run in preservation. What I mean by First Run, is that it was started the night before after being stored 10 years previously, and the only movement it'd ever made after that was running 2 miles light loco to Froghall, to haul this train with 20 154, about 15 mins before this photo was taken. Brilliant, yes we were! |

| DRS 66s... what a big mistake. Waste of money. They ordered 10 66/4s yet they have hardly any work booked for them... just two ASDA or Intermodal trains each day? Hiring them out to Heavy Haul because they have no DRS work confirms that they were a huge waste of money. |

| I think Sir Richard Branson has no clue what hes doing. Voyagers and Pendildos are not the way forwards. They're a huge step backwards. 57s, 90s + HSTs on these services with refurbished MK3s is THE way forwards. Not some bog standard, 4-carriage, glorified sprinter that are unfit for purpose in all departments. Or tilting 8-carriage EMUs which have seats far less comfortable than the stock they replaced. Again, what does this "Beardy" nutter think hes doing? |

| It must be said, this is the most dull class 47 livery I have *ever* seen. Is it possible to come up with anything more boring than plain green?
It also must be said EWS do not care less about maintaining their class 47s. 47750 gone with more due soon. Its about time Freightliner started hiring theirs to Virmin West Coast |

| thats one hell of alot of stuff seen at Stafford in just 2 hours (120 minutes), 15+ locos and an OTP, thats very lucky in the crap year 2005 rail scene, you can guarentee the next 2 hours would have been dull though as this quick succession of locos is a 'one-off' |
